Cleveland Browns | All five picks signed to 4-year deals
The Browns open training camp today, and in a nice turn of events, all the draft picks are signed going into camp. This is the most solid the Browns have been headed into a training camp with a few depth issues on defense being some of the only “question marks” for the upcoming season… The D-Line looks to be much improved, the Offense should continue the run it started last season, and for a change, all is decent in Clevesville…

Nice write up on some various aspects of the NFL in July as the upcoming season approaches. The article gives props in a few spots to the Browns, but this one is particularly nice…
If the Super Bowl were played tomorrow
The Browns are one of only six NFL teams that have never been to a Super Bowl. So let’s send Cleveland to the 2008 NFL championship game against the defending champion New York Giants. Go ahead, skewer me. But my loyal readers/e-mailers also skewered me last November when I forecast a Giants-Patriots Super Bowl in this same Internet space. That’s what makes the NFL so intriguing – nothing is ever as obvious as it seems. According to SI.com that is. They did a survey among Baseball fans in March and that little place right up the road came out on top!!!

So far since the release of the NFL schedule, one of the big surprises of the day was the number of Prime Time and National appearances by the Browns. Don Banks has a nice take on it here…
Don’t know if you’ve heard, but the color that will be all the rage in the NFL this fall is brown. Cleveland Brown. It’ll be everywhere. Just watch.
The long downtrodden but recently resurgent Browns have been deemed ready for their close-up by the league schedule makers, and that’s why we should all prepare to see plenty of Derek Anderson and the rest of his high-scoring, play-making teammates.
From virtual obscurity to a headline act. That’s the quick trip the Browns have taken. Like many, I have Cleveland as the team to beat in its division this season, with its first trip to the playoffs since 2002 predicted.
Make no mistake, Brown is very in this year.

Wow! 5 National Games this year!! It’s a tough schedule, but the Browns are getting lots of National attention for a change and that is great!! Gotta get to a few games this year (Ideally the Pittsburgh & Denver games…)

Browns Ranked 6th!!!
Nice to see some respect coming the Brownies way for a change…
