This past Saturday we spent the evening in downtown Cleveland with the family. After a tasty dinner at The House Of Blues we met up with Bella’s Grandparents and Aunt & Uncle for a night at Jacob’s Field. Although the Indians lost to the Twins, we had a blast. Bella rocked out to some tunes and got her fill of cotton candy, peanuts and it was even ‘Tom Hamilton‘ talking bobblehead night to boot!!

Today’s venture blasts through some beach fun, a stellar poker night (as the kids hang in the other room looking bored…) and a little steamy trip of miniature golf. Generally at this time of year, the sports media is busy forecasting all the teams chances and like usual, the Browns are predicted to be simply awful. Most notably, CNN/SI writer Peter King is usually particularly negative about the Browns chances…(Unfortunately, he’ s also usually right…) So I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see not only a nice article about Browns training camp, but a great perspective on the whole Brady Quinn holdout and what it means for him and the team. Plus, seeing someone recognize that Jamal Lewis is going to have a huge year is refreshing as well… Check out the full read!

So you can truly get a sense of how crazy the fireworks were at Myrtle Beach this past fouth of July. Check out this video to see the craziness that was 3+ hours of beachside fireworks…

Round Four - More goods from the 4th of July! The fireworks we witnessed were amazing and filled the sky down either side of the beach. The kids had a blast (no pun intended of course…). Simply one of the funniest things on TV this summer season. If you don’t have HBO, you’re missing out. Follow the trials and tribulations of two New Zealanders living in New York City as they try (barely) to get gigs, avoid their crazy ‘fan’, and deal with life issues like muggings and dating. Jermaine and Brett(or Rhymenocerous & the Hiphoppapotomus - see below) are a definite must see.
I first thought this would be some sort of rip off of Tenacious D, who had started out as 2 guys with guitars on HBO, but this is completely different. More subtle, less about “the Rock” and more about “the funny”…

Round Three - A little bit of beach ‘bocce’, the kids make a bathtub on the beach, and the whole crowd gathers for what will turn out to be an amazing 4th of July (Crowded beach, lots of fireworks & fun). Click the image to the left (or here) to launch the photos..

A quick welcome to the world to Mario Ronald … 7lbs, 14oz, 21inches. He arrived yesterday around 10am. My sister and her family are doing great and all Mario’s siblings are thrilled…
