Amazing Realistic Sculptures!

in_bed.jpg
The Sculptor is named Ron Mueck. I got an email earlier from a good friend which included some pics of his work. Wow! I thought they were just interesting photos of real people at first, or maybe some kind of photoshop manipulations. But these are intense. Larger than life and incredibly life-like.

It’s Rivalry Week! And Season Opener! And the Battle of the Turnpike!

HelmetOh yea, it’s NFL time again!! And what better way to kick it off than a home opener against the dreaded, hated Pittspuke!!

Now I know I’ve got to be realistic and although the Browns are way better than they’ve been for the past years here, they still have a lot to prove. But wouldn’t it be great to prove something and give the Steelers a crappy “Welcome To The 2007 NFL Season” by beating up on ‘em in our own house?

I think we can be a bit of a surprise this year (not saying playoffs, but anything above 5 wins will be a treat!).

Here’s a pic I found. Saw this at the Xmas-eve debacle 2 years ago when the Steelers came in and handed us a nice 42 - 0 smackdown… This sign is still hilarious tho’… Bring on the McBeam!!!!!

MIA, yes I have been…

dmiss

Yea…Some call it busy. Others call it ‘lack of free time’. Some may even say ‘bizzle fashizzle’…

A little traveling (i.e.- Columbus for the YSU/OSU game and tailgating and drinking and then more drinking with some food mixed in and then we also drank some…).

Then there’s the ‘day job’ which, like the name says, takes up most of the ‘day’…

Oh, the yard. Yes, plundering through a 40′ by 15′ stretch of 7ft high weeds, cat-o-nine tails, small trees and other general overgrowth with an electric hedge trimmer, a weedwacker and an axe. Good times!

So, stuff will be forthcoming but I just wanted to quickly update as I’ve been ‘MIA’ for a few dayz…
