Okay, I wasn’t here when this tradition started, but apparently every Halloween party here entails an end of day “ElevatorScare-A-Thon Extravaganza” (or something like that…). The 17 other people in the building can possibly fall victim to an unexpected stop on the second floor followed by the door opening to the screams of ‘tens’ of peoples…. Actually, it was pretty funny…
Reaper…Tuesday’s at 9 on the CW. This show is fantastic. Ray Wise is playing his best role (Devil) since his Twin Peaks days as Laura Palmer’s psycho dad. The show has a great mix of the funny, action and that weird wittiness only found in shows like Buffy, How I met your Mother, etc… Plain and simple, the show just works. Quick synopsis, Sam Oliver finds out his parents sold his soul to the devil when he was born. So, out of his control, he gets the joy of being the Devil’s beeatch, having to do his every whim when it comes to capturing escaped souls from hell. But he also works at “The Work Bench” (ala Home Depot/Lowe’s) and has no real career goals anyway…so it’s all good.
Check it out before it disappears! Or at least TiVo the damn thing and catch it some other time…

Okay, so it’s probably not every video ever. But in a very cool ( and hopefully soon to continue) trend, you can now search and watch any Daily Show clips dating back into the late 90’s (Basically the Jon Stewart era…). That’s how I was able to dig up one of my Mo Rocca favorites from back in the day…
The latest Winamp is out of Beta and ready to go! It’s always been one of my favorite media players and I stopped using it for a while when i first got my IPod. But now the IPOD support on this is awesome so I’m back in the Winamp camp. There’s a ton of skins and plugins (I recommend SoundSolutions for making my crappy speakers sound decent). The new Bento Skin that comes with it is awesome. All the album art off the pod is shown and there’s a real nice web interface with extra info about whatever I’m listening to. Haven’t played much yet with the video channels or the Winamp Remote (access your music from another PC thru winamp) but will look into that as well… Get it today!
