Ahhh… Good Times, remember?
Ahhh… Good Times, remember?

Wow… This will go down as one of the more ridiculous things I’ve heard today, that’s for sure… Apparently, the major reason the RIAA wants authorities to ‘crack-down’ (no pun intended) on CD Piracy is that it leads them to gun & drug dealers, as well as terrorists… Fantastic! Now if people only still even bought CD’s, many of the world’s crimes would be solved lickity-split!
I guess these are starting to get organized and are springing up all over (New York, London, Toronto, etc…). Kind of a neat idea (until it shows up everywhere…). Reminded me of the times in 8th grade when we’d drive a teacher nuts by doing timed things (like at 11:55, everybody dropped their books off their desk…). I think we did something once or twice a week for a while in French class and absolutely drove our teacher nutz! (If my daughter is reading this… don’t do that…hehe…)
More info here…
For some reason I’ve been in a “Lush” mood this morning… So here’s a double shot of a band that disappeared too fast… Two oldies!

Sorry, this is a geeky post I know, but thought this was a nice piece of work about common application design mistakes (and web design), and some ideas on workarounds…

Yea, I dig the Opie and Anthony show. I used to be a big Howard fan, but he got real stale near the end of his run on regular radio. I think the first time I heard O&A, I hated it. But over the last year listening to the tape delay version in afternoons, it grew on me. Morning radio in Cleveland was garbage. Rover’s Morning Glory was by fer the WORST show I’d ever heard ever… The way they hyped it too was embarrassing. The commercials with show highlights were NOT funny and in fact made me like the show even less… Finally 92.3 here got wise (or there was some contract thing or something) and put O&A on live from 6 - 9 a.m… Nice!
