So we had a little father/daughter movie night last night and watched this recent DVD release. I gotta say, I actually thought it was pretty good. The effects were nice and the story was your typical heartwarming fare with an underlying message about the wonders of life (ya know, everything you’d expect from a popular kids flick…) Dustin Hoffman was a little creepy, but not enough to be too disturbing… My daughter was actually a little less impressed, but I’m not sure why… So if’n ya got a kid and need a decent rental this weekend, I recommend this…
